DeadCatX2 : Another advantage of the coplanar waveguide is that it makes your stackup much more resilient to issues that arise from the dielectric weave. Depending on the weave of the e.g. FR4, you can get wildly different impedance profiles in real products, because some boards will have one or the other line going over more gaps in the weave; in fact, I think the weave of the dielectric is the primary reason controlled impedance is so much higher cost, but don't quote me on that. As shown in this video, the ground waveguide has significantly better coupling to the traces than the relatively distant reference plane, which significantly mitigates the nasty side-effects of routing over an unpredictable weave.
Dan Bowkley : When setting up an antenna (outside, as for a ham radio for example) it's pretty common practice to have a 75 ohm output from a transceiver, and put that through a balun to a 300 ohm twin lead feed line to the antenna. Or vice versa. Or both, which is kind of silly but certainly possible. My stupid question is this: how awful would it be, and why, to route your traces as whatever Z they happen to work out to because you happen to like that trace width and just have an impedance matching network on either end?

pr0xZen : As a user of the last type, I agree. A few tips though. 1) it comes in 4 or 5 different sizes. from 2 to 6 sliders. The one with 2 sliders is a bit shorter, 3 and up is same length. I have the 3-slider one, and its still heavy, probably 400 grams. 2) I'm not sure what it is, but there is a hard coating on the surface that is non conductive. 3) There are 3 different heights the board can sit on, on the blue pieces, but no groove that close in again that can knock off components. Its shaped more like stair steps. So you lift the board up 2 different heights, or at the lowest, sit flush directly on the surface. 4) you can loosen the screws with a hex key, then there is a little room for adjusting the blue pieces if needed. Same for the spring and button sliders. 5) If it gets really grimy, the whole thing can be disassembled easily, and plop the parts in the ultrasonic cleaner.

Xaby Sebastian : What a huge downgrade from Nichicon Caps to Aishi. This makes Apple 20w chargers no different from Anker.

I hope you could differentiate the old box and shell of the old ones using Nichicon and the new ones with Aishi.
Dmitry Antonov : ZN1461C looks to be a customized version of InnoSwitch3-Pro or InnoSwitch3-CP 650V, as CYPD2134 can support both analog and I2C feedback loop control
Tanishq bhaiji : The 18,20w are cheap chargers, not up to Apple’s usual standards, Delta and Lite-On chargers are much higher quality, again cheap caps. Apple cheaped out because they mean to sell a lot more of these and they want more profit on them.
